MediaKap filters are designed to sterilise or clarify culture media or any other aqueous solutions. Can be used as pressure filters with a peristaltic pump, a hand pump or a syringe.

0,2 µm, naturally hydrophilic
Non-pyrogenic

Sterile membrane made from hollow, mixed cellulose ester fibres

They reduce filtering times considerably (for example, 5 l of a serum-free culture medium can be filtered in less than 15 minutes using a MediaKap® 5).
