CF® Dye alkynes react with azide groups via copper-catalysed bioorthogonal cycloaddition. Can be used to fluorescently detect or label azide groups on target molecules. CF® Dye alkynes can also be used as building blocks to form fluorescent polymers.

CF® Dye alkynes can react with azide groups to form 1,2,3-triazole via 1,3-dipolar Huisgen copper-catalysed cycloaddition. They can also be used as monomeric building blocks to copolymerise with other monomers to form fluorescent polymers.
CF® Dyes are of next-generation fluorescent dyes that have improved brightness, photostability and water solubility compared to Alexa Fluor®, DyLight®, and other fluorescent dyes.
